The Camp Compass® Counselor is responsible for assisting the Calvary Bereavement Staff in providing bereavement services to children and adolescents during summer camp.
Camp Compass® 2025 will take place at:
Queensborough Community College
222-05 56th Avenue, NY 11364
Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Bus Pick-Up Location in Brooklyn & Bronx.
Dates: August 11 - August 15, 2025 (One Week Only)
New Stipend 1,250.00 for the week
Requirements
1. School social workers, teachers, guidance counselors, school or pediatric nurses, and other Master prepared clinicians or Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children.
2. Minimum of three (3) years in Childhood Education.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and function.
