What you will do:
Ensure all aspects of athletic programs comply with University standards and conference and national affiliation rules and regulations. Identify potential risk and helps in establishing criteria and plans for correction.
Explain and demonstrate the principles, techniques, and methods of regulating movement of the human body, kinesiology, biomechanics, etc. to achieve proficiency in the assigned activity or sport.
Observe students during practice to encourage good athletic skills and provide guidance for improvements. Assess student-athlete capabilities. Explain and demonstrate use of apparatus and equipment.
Assist and/or executes program development, develops strategies for competitions and enrollment growth expectation
What you need:
1 years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
Must be able to pass a background investigation
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
Bonus Points:
CPR, First Aid and Coaches’ Safety Training certifications; AED training preferred.
