Job Description

Beond is looking for a CAMO Planner who will be responsible for managing and directing those activities concerned with Aircraft Maintenance Planning, Technical Records and Technical Publications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Planning (Function)

  • Manage, direct and coordinate the functions of Production Planning, and Technical Records.
  • Ensure that maintenance plans and associated inspections, repairs, are efficiently planned and controlled to meet defined requirements.
  • Provide resources for accurately estimating, work package preparation, production scheduling, maintenance task card control, production data entry and reporting the maintenance activities for Beond Fleet.
  • Ensure that maintenance requirements are planned in a timely cost-effective manner seeking cost reduction through maximization of resources without compromising Airworthiness and Safety Standards.
  • Control and manage the Technical Records.
  • Ensure timely report of monthly utilization hours and cycles to aircraft/engine lessors.
  • Ensure reporting of EO embodiments to OEM as necessary.
  • Ensure availability of technical literature, airworthiness regulatory publications, manufacturer and vendors procedural manuals and informatory literature to support continuing airworthiness management of Beond fleet.
  • Supervise the procurement of technical literature and its efficient provisioning at various locations for consultation of the same by technical personnel.
  • Anticipates the literature requirement well in advance of induction of an aircraft in Beond fleet and submits the requirements of technical literature for review and approval.
  • Establish log – in/log –out procedures in order to control location of all Technical Data in Library.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of technical literature and regulatory publications awaiting orders or deliveries from manufacturers or regulatory bodies in coordination with the Stores and Purchases Section.
  • Assign work, provides instructions, procedures and guidance for employees assigned to Planning, Technical Records and Technical Publications.
  • Ensure personnel report all hazards, accidents and incidents.
  • Identify and report all occurrences, hazards, operational irregularities, unsafe conditions or practices in a timely manner.
  • Conducting risk-based trend analysis and communicating potentially hazardous conditions to NPCA and Safety Department.
  • Supervision of staff performing Technical Records function.

Technical Records (Function)

  • Maintain a system of monitoring and control of Airbus A320 family Approved Maintenance Programs, ensure that the scheduling and performance of all tasks are monitored with the respective due dates or within reasonable time.
  • Maintain a system of job cards preparation & updating.
  • Establish and maintain necessary procedures to keep Engineering Software updated, thus reflecting the true maintenance status of all aircrafts.
  • Prepare work scopes of maintenance events and materials preload lists for all scheduled work packages.
  • Maintain a system of work package preparation for scheduled base maintenance checks to include all scheduled routine and non-routine maintenance.
  • Schedule compliance of airworthiness directives as well as non-mandatory service bulletins and modifications.
  • Arrangement of slots and manpower required for line maintenance liaising with Beond Flight Operations and MCC/PP.
  • Identify and report all occurrences, hazards, operational irregularities, unsafe conditions or practices in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Aeronautical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
  • Certificate or Minimum 3 years’ experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management.
  • Secondary school Certificate.
  • These 3 years should cover an appropriate combination of experience in tasks in the following areas.
    • Obtaining and updating maintenance data.
    • Managing aircraft records & technical publication.
    • Forecasting and maintenance planning.
    • Experience using any common Engineering & Maintenance Software (EMS).
    • Experience on MPD and AMP, preferably on A320 family.
    • Working knowledge of airline/MRO processes and procedures.
    • Ability to understand Technical Documentation such as Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Service Letters
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an aircraft continuing airworthiness management environment. Note: 1 year experience mentioned in this paragraph may be replaced by a 6 month’s relevant experience additional to a High School Certificate in Science stream.
