Priory Hospital Roehampton has an opportunity for a CAMHS Therapist to join our team.
£31,312 – £36,256 per annum (accredited) or £22,248 – £28,840 per annum (non-accredited), based on 30 hours per week.
Priory Hospital Roehampton, Roehampton, London is a specialist mental health and addiction rehabilitation service. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Priory Lane and Barnes railway station approximately 1–2 miles from the hospital.
What you'll be doing
We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced CAMHS Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred therapeutic support to the people we care for. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, you’ll assess individual needs, deliver tailored one-to-one and group interventions, and support clients to improve their mental, emotional, physical and social wellbeing.
As part of the role you will:
- Complete initial assessments and develop tailored therapy plans based on each client’s individual needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and group therapy, using appropriate interventions to support wellbeing, recovery and positive change.
- Manage an allocated caseload, monitoring progress and maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, families and carers to provide coordinated, person-centred care.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
Applicants should be a qualified CBT Therapist with BABCP-approved postgraduate training (Level 1 or Level 2) and BABCP accreditation. Applicants who are not yet accredited must be registered with BABCP, actively working towards accreditation, and able to submit their application within 12 months. Candidates should also have post-qualification experience delivering CBT within mental health settings, including inpatient and/or outpatient services.
Accreditation:
Accreditation with a relevant professional body is required. If the accreditation body is National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), Senior Accreditation is required; otherwise, candidates must be working towards the required level of accreditation. In certain circumstances, we may consider applicants who are working towards accreditation, provided this can be completed within 12 months of appointment.
