Community Video Screenings in Northern Bangladesh
IFPRI seeks to contract a qualified local implementation company in Bangladesh to organize and conduct community video screenings across wards in Northern Bangladesh. The activity is part of a broader initiative aimed at informing and engaging community members through short, publicly screened videos.
The selected firm will be responsible for the full implementation of the screenings, including community mobilization, logistical arrangements, facilitation of the events, and collection of participant information. Screenings will take place in approximately 150 wards and will involve the public display of three short videos provided by the project team.
The firm is expected to mobilize community members in advance of each screening and to select accessible, centrally located venues within each ward. Screenings should be scheduled at times that allow participation by both women and men. Particular care should be taken to ensure inclusive participation, with the expectation that women constitute at least half of attendees at each screening. A consolidated participant database and a brief summary of implementation experiences and challenges will be submitted upon completion of field activities. Firms applying for this assignment should demonstrate experience with community mobilization and event-based activities in Bangladesh, the ability to manage large-scale field operations, and experience collecting participant information in community settings. Experience ensuring gender-inclusive participation is strongly preferred.
