Job Description

Dispatcher – Medical Patient Transport

Location: Penrose, Auckland

Pay: $25 per hour

Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00am – 2:00pm (your weekend will be Monday and Tuesday) OR Tuesday to Saturday 2.00pm - 10.00pm (your weekend will be Sunday and Monday)

Contract: On-going, immediate start

Use your communication and computer skills to support vital patient transport bookings. You will join a friendly dispatch team based in Penrose, working to coordinate drivers and ensure patients get safely to and from their appointments. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and calm problem-solving make a real difference in people’s days.

About the Role:

  • Take inbound emails and calls and assign drivers to patient bookings.
  • Accurately enter and update trip details in an easy-to-learn booking system
  • Confirm appointment times and manage changes in real time
  • Communicate clearly with drivers, patients, and other team members
  • Work collaboratively in a supportive environment committed to excellent service

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous call centre, dispatch, or customer service experience
  • Confident phone manner and strong multitasking skills
  • Reliable and focused, with good attention to detail
  • Computer literate and quick to learn new systems
  • Available to work Wednesday to Sunday, 6am–2pm
