General Information:

Within the Process, Methods & Tools team, you will contribute to the support, deployment, and continuous improvement of calibration tools and workflows across a broad engineering environment.

You will help harmonize calibration practices across projects, teams, and sites, while ensuring consistency, traceability, and operational efficiency. Working closely with engineering users, key users, IT, and the tool supplier, you will support the evolution of calibration methods in an international environment.

This role is well suited to an engineer who enjoys working at the interface between tools, methods, users, and process standardization.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to end users of AVL CRETA;
  • Investigate functional and technical issues, coordinate resolution, and follow up on corrective actions;
  • Support key users on advanced usage topics, feature-related requests, and operational questions;
  • Perform tool administration and maintenance activities;
  • Contribute to the planning, validation, and deployment of tool releases, updates, and evolutions;
  • Define, adapt, and document calibration workflows within the tool environment;
  • Ensure calibration activities and deliverables are properly integrated into the ALM environment;
  • Gather business needs and translate them into functional requirements and specifications;
  • Coordinate with the tool supplier on implementation topics, issue resolution, and change requests;
  • Define and maintain functional and regression tests for new releases and tool changes;
  • Support traceability, naming conventions, metadata quality, and archiving practices;
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to deploy harmonized tools and methods across the organization.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent;
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry or a comparable engineering environment;
  • Experience in calibration, testing and validation, systems engineering, engineering methods, or tool support is appreciated;
  • Knowledge of AVL CRETA is a plus, but not a prerequisite;
  • Good understanding of traceability, configuration management, variants, and structured engineering processes;
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in cross-functional and international environments;
  • Professional level of English.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of scripting or automation approaches in engineering environments is a plus;
  • Knowledge of ASPICE or ISO 26262;
  • Experience with an ALM, PLM, or engineering testing ecosystems;
  • Experience in a multi-site and international environment.
