Job Description

The Calibration Technician is responsible for administering and maintaining the site's calibration program to ensure measurement and test equipment remains calibrated and compliant with ISO 9001 and customer requirements. This position coordinates internal and external calibration activities, maintains calibration records, manages calibration suppliers, and supports other Quality Department activities as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
• Maintain the site calibration system and calibration records.

• Coordinate internal and external calibration activities.

• Manage calibration schedules and prevent overdue calibration status.

• Review calibration certificates for compliance and traceability requirements.

• Verify and maintain ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation records for calibration suppliers.

• Coordinate calibration vendors, including on-site visits, equipment shipments, and service scheduling.

• Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders for calibration services and equipment repairs.

• Maintain calibration-related quality records and documentation.

• Support internal, customer, and third-party audits related to calibration activities.

• Support inspections, corrective actions, document control, and other Quality Department activities as assigned.

Qualifications


Required:
• 3+ years of experience in calibration, quality, inspection, manufacturing, or a related technical field.

• Experience maintaining calibration systems and quality records.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Desired:
• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, Quality, or related field preferred.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

• Experience supporting audits and supplier qualification activities.

• Experience creating purchase orders and coordinating external service providers.

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position in local currency is $19.30-35.83.
