Department/Function:Reliability & Maintenance

We are seeking a Calibration Technicianto join a high-performing manufacturing quality team in Sydney. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunitywith potential for extension or permanency, driven by evolving business needs.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and an interest in quality, compliance, and instrumentation—prior calibration experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

You willbe responsible forsupporting calibration and equipment management activities to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Working within a collaborative environment,you’llplay a key role inmaintainingequipment accuracy, system traceability, and audit readiness across the manufacturing function.

  • Perform calibration of measurement and test equipment (IMTE) in line with schedules and procedures

  • Support equipment registration, tracking, and lifecycle management

  • Coordinate outsourced calibrations with external vendors

  • Maintainaccuratecalibration records, documentation, and traceability

  • Conduct impact assessments for calibration failures and support quality documentation

  • Assistwith compliance activities and audit preparation

  • Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and planning teams to ensure calibration readiness

  • Provide general administrative support related to calibration and equipment

You are a detail-oriented and structured individual who enjoys hands-on technical work as well as documentation and process support.

  • Background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline (Diploma,Degreeor equivalent experience)

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a technical, manufacturing, or maintenance environment

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to follow procedures and work in a regulated or quality-driven environment

  • Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills

  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team
