About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Calibration Process Quality Engineer to lead and support Powertrain calibration process conformity, product quality and compliance across World-wide BGSW Calibration Projects. This role focuses on performing systematic spot checks on calibration artifacts across the full lifecycle, driving issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and continuous quality improvement
Key Responsibilities
Perform spot checks on calibration artifacts across development, pre-series, and post-series phases of the projects,
Validate data review coverage (APEX) and content quality (iCDM) along with QA checks in webFLOW
Act as global QA focal point for worldwide calibration projects, Collaborate closely with Calibration Project Managers, calibration engineers, and QA teams across regions (EU, APAC, America)
Drive clear, structured communication of findings, expectations, and action status
Ensure process conformity and compliance (RB/GF182, Codex, safety requirements)
Verify correct execution of calibration processes, data reviews, and artifact quality
Identify gaps, risks, and deviations through spot checks
Log and track findings in QSR tool and drive closure with root cause actions
Provide quality reports, KPIs, and risk insights to stakeholders and management
Support decision-making through data-driven quality transparency
Implement Lessons Learned (LL) and preventive actions to avoid recurrence
Contribute to continuous improvement and process standardization
What We’re Looking For
6 - 8 years of experience in Powertrain Calibration in ICE and EV platforms, with a knowledge of Project Management.
Hands-on experience in applying knowledge of calibration methods and processes to ensure the quality of delivery.
Proven experience in quality control tools and techniques to ensure the highest level of quality and zero defects.
Hands-on experience in using calibration tools like INCA and dataset review tools like iCDM or AVL CRETA etc.
Strong customer-facing experience, Stakeholder management, project reviews, and reporting.
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders like Project Managers and Calibration engineering teams.
Excellent communication, mentoring, training, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
Project management Certification (PMP) or SCRUM
FMEA Review & 8D Methodology and Problem-solving skills
Knowledge of GenAI and Process Automation
