We are looking for a Calibration Engineer - Fuel/Evap diagnosticsfor a global automotive company in Gothenburg.
Start is in ASAP, 12-months limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
Assignment description
Responsible for performing the calibration of the engine control or diagnostics systems during all project phases. This role involves performing physical tests, simulation and analysis to optimize calibrations in accordance with project and customer requirements. In addition, this role is also responsible for contributing to the development and improvements of the methods used for calibration and testing.
Key Responsibilities and Scope
Develop methods for ensuring optimal and robust calibration during a project.
Performs optimal and robust calibration during a project.
Tests and optimizes engine control/diagnostic systems.
Perform tests and analysis work.
Updating the Sign-Off document and the evaluation of it.
Uses design of experiments (DoE) to plan and evaluate tests when applicable.
Identifies issues and recommends actions to solve them.
Assesses the need for analysis and verification activities.
Follows the development within the technical area.
Skill requirements
BSc Engineering or equivalent experience
2+ years experience within the automotive industry
General knowledge of powertrain control strategies
Driving license B
Data analysing and programming skills.
Meritourious:
- INCA experience
- Hällered T1/T2
Please note: the consultant needs to be available for expeditions 2-4 times per year. Next planned expedition is in Spain in August for 2 weeks.
This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburgthrough Incluso. Start is in in June 2026, 12 months limited contractto begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.
