The Opportunity:

With little supervision provide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and calibration to Liquid Handling instruments; electronic and mechanical instruments. Document and report all repairs and product failures. Job is performed on Boxmeer site and Location sites

Functieoverzicht

Voor ons team Liquid Handling zijn wij op zoek naar een collega die ons komt versterken als Kalibratiemedewerker. De instrumenten waar je o.a. mee te maken krijgt, zijn (elektronische) pipetten en flesdispensers, die onze klanten in zeer kritische processen gebruiken.

Binnen deze baan werk je zowel op onze site in Boxmeer als op locatie bij klanten. Hoewel onze hoofdlocatie zich in Boxmeer bevindt, ondersteun je in deze functie onze klanten voornamelijk op hun eigen locatie. Daarom staan wij ook open voor kandidaten die in Noordoost-Holland wonen. Voor vergaderingen hoeven deze medewerkers niet terug naar Boxmeer te komen, aangezien deze ook op afstand kunnen worden bijgewoond.

Omdat je veel onderweg bent voor klantbezoeken, worden alle werkgerelateerde reis- en vervoerskosten volledig vergoed. Zo kun je je volledig richten op het leveren van de beste service aan onze klanten.

Belangrijkste taken en verantwoordelijkheden

• Zelfstandig kalibratie werkzaamheden uitvoeren op laboratoriumappartuur. Dit betekent afwijkingen van apparatuur vaststellen en dit bijstellen.
• Kleine reparaties uitvoeren.
• De rapportage verzorgen van de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden aan de klant.
• Een gedegen werkorder-administratie voeren.
• De planning opvolgen.
• Het kwaliteitshandboek en werkinstructies naleven.
• Als mensen op locatie zijn hoeven ze hier niet voor terug naar Boxmeer te komen.

Vereiste ervaring

• MLO opleiding is een pré.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
• Zelfstandig, standvastig en durft beslissingen te nemen.
• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden.
• Representatief, affiniteit met automatisering en nauwkeurig.
• In het bezit van een rijbewijs B.
• Bereid om werken op locatie bij onze klanten en eventueel te overnachten in de buurt indien nodig.
• VCA certificaat is een pré.

Position Overview

Our Liquid Handling team is looking for a Calibration Technician to join us. The instruments you will work with include (electronic) pipettes and bottle dispensers, which are used by our customers in highly critical processes.

In this role, you will work both at our site in Boxmeer and at customer locations. While our main site is located in Boxmeer, this role involves supporting customers directly at their locations. Therefore, we are also happy to consider candidates based in Northeast Holland, as a significant portion of the work is carried out on customer sites rather than from our office. Staff are not required to travel back to Boxmeer to attend meetings. Meetings can be attended remotely.

To support our field-based team, we provide full reimbursement of all work-related travel and commuting expenses incurred while visiting customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform calibration activities on laboratory equipment, including identifying and adjusting deviations.
• Carry out minor repairs.
• Prepare reports for customers on completed work.
• Maintain accurate work order administration.
• Follow and manage assigned schedules.
• Comply with the quality manual and work instructions.
• Attend meetings and participate in training sessions at the Boxmeer office. (Staff are not required to travel back to Boxmeer to attend meetings. Meetings can be attended remotely.)

Required Experience and Skills

• An MLO (Laboratory Education) qualification is preferred.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work independently, remain confident, and make decisions when needed.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance, affinity with automation, and strong attention to detail.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Willingness to work at customer sites and occasionally stay overnight when required.
• VCA certification is an advantage.
