MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
1. Develop and maintain calibration schedules for all instruments and equipment.
2. Monitor due dates and generate work orders for upcoming calibrations.
3. Coordinate with internal technicians and external service providers.
4. Track equipment status (in service, out for repair, out-of-tolerance, decommissioned).
5. Maintain calibration records within CMMS or calibration management software.
6. Calibrate and maintain measurement equipment (e.g., pressure gauges, temperature sensors, multimeters, torque tools, flow meters)
7. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or other regulatory standards. traceability to national/international standards (e.g., NIST).
8. Ensure traceability to national/international standards (e.g., NIST).
9. Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and recommend corrective action
10. Support internal and external audits.
11. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & TRAINING
• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Instrumentation, Metrology, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
EXPERIENCE
1. 2+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, or maintenance.
2. Knowledge of measurement principles (electrical, mechanical, thermal, dimensional).
3. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
4. Proficiency using calibration software and CMMS systems.
5. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Pay range: $24/hr - $30/hr - Final compensation/salary will depend on experience.
