Player Services Supervisor/Shift Manager is responsible for protecting casino cage assets and in complying with company internal controls, policies and procedures and laws. Conduct monetary and credit transactions for customers, gaming departments and employees. Trained in Cage, credit and Boyd Rewards Club operating functions

  • Serve Player Services customers by cashing checks, exchanging gaming chips for currency, cashing checks, and processing markers and fills.
  • Maintain balance, and safeguard Player Services assets during assigned shift.
  • Monitor and verify all cash intake.
  • Monitor transactions and documentation to ensure compliance with gaming regulations, company policies, procedures, and laws.
  • Input, update, and access customer credit and other information via computer.
  • Coordinate job duties of Players Services personnel; instruct in proper performance of job duties.
  • Report and research any variance.
  • Ability to bend, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to work any position in Player Services
  • Understanding of how the Boyd Rewards Club operates and supervises Player Services Representatives that create new Boyd Rewards Accounts
  • Ability to create duplicate Boyd Rewards Cards for Guests
  • Ability to change the Pin of a Boyd Rewards guest, but cannot create new Boyd Rewards accounts
  • Works with Casino Hosts and Gaming management to issue complimentaries as required
  • Explains and promotes the Boyd Rewards Loyalty Program
  • Assist with and have complete knowledge of special events and promotional activities to ensure optimal customer service
  • Handle guest recovery as required
  • Perform daily player tracking system audits as required
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • 2 years Cage/Credit experience preferred.
  • Ability to utilize basic office machines as well as 10 key, jetsort, jetscan, gaming ticketing kiosks, and micro-encoder.
  • Ability to operate Oasis-PitBoss, Loyalty, Everi, NEWave CENTRE, MicroSoft Office , and KRONOS software and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
  • Must obtain a TAM card for Guest comping requirements
  • Must be able to bend, push and lift up to 50 lbs. in weight
  • Must pass heightened background review
