Cage Cashier – Wendover
The Cage Cashier provides friendly, efficient, accurate customer service to guests and co-workers through the process of chip cashing, check cashing, and making simple exchanges. It is a fun job for a public-orientated individual and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given point in a timely manner.
Pay Rate: $15.00 / hr
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Greet customers in a timely manner with positive service skills.
· Issue money to floor or shift personnel according to internal control procedures.
· Cash checks, payroll and personal, according to internal control policies and Gambling Commission regulations.
· Redeem gaming chips from persons in exchange for currency or coin; receive checks and other cash equivalents (e.g. debit card, cash & win) from persons in exchange for currency or coin.
· Responsible for the proper completion of fills and credits to and from the gaming floor and slots jackpots and for signing and ensuring the accuracy on required forms.
· Maintain and control security of keys for cage.
· Maintain knowledge on marketing promotions.
· Document all transactions with accuracy.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience and knowledge that includes:
· High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
· Previous experience with cash handling.
· Two years prior customer service experience, preferred.
· Previous 10-key, office machines, computer, internal radio usage, and phone usage experience preferred.
· Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Gaming Card.
