The Cage Cashier executes guest monetary transactions at an assigned window bank while maintaining accurate balance counts of company assets and delivering exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Process all guest and company monetary transactions with precision, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, company policies, and established procedures
  • Exchange gaming chips and tickets, process check cashing, and manage markers and fills in accordance with operational standards
  • Maintain accurate bank balances and safeguard casino cage assets throughout the assigned shift
  • Assist customers with credit applications and maintain comprehensive customer credit files
  • Issue window markers and safety deposit boxes to guests while ensuring proper documentation
  • Enter markers, fills, and credit slips into the computer system with accuracy and timeliness
  • Respond to guest inquiries professionally and communicate information regarding current promotions and offerings
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure work stations are fully stocked and organized
  • Perform assigned duties, which require standing for the majority of the shift
  • Execute additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age.

• Previous money handling/cashiering preferred.

• Basic Math skills with knowledge of currency.

• Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters for cash and coin.

• Must be able to bend, push, lift, and carry up to 26 pounds in weight.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to read and speak English.

• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
