The Cage Cashier is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. Responsibilities include performing cash transactions and Caesars Rewards transactions.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for superior customer relations
Responsible for various cash transactions: cashing tickets, chips, giving correct change, and other cash related transactions
Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift
Keeping cash drawer balanced and impressed and ensuring that all casino funds are secured when not in use
Verifying and documenting personal identification information for checks and cash advance transactions
Comply with all company standard operating procedures, gaming regulations, and federal regulations, including Title 31 compliance
Provide guests with information of events and promotions at Isle of Capri Casino Hotel Boonville
Completes all company-required training within designated time frames
Act in ways that will surprise and delight our guests. Leave guests with positive feelings about our property and establish/maintain relationships with them. Approach each situation with a “yes we can” attitude, every guest every time.
Perform other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions
Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, personal computers (CMS, E-Ticket, Certegy check cashing system), 10 key calculator, telephone, copier, jet sort and currency counter.
Ability to read simple instructions
Ability to complete forms
Basic mathematical functions
Knowledge of company standard operating procedures and other company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and internal controls
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment
Good communication skills
Casino environment exposed to bright lights, noise, changing temperatures and smoke which might include a boat and/or floating barge and hotel
Standing 95%, Bending/Lifting 5% (up to 25 pounds). Repetitive keyboarding and scanning.
Ability to be at work on time as scheduled on a regular basis which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
Subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
Previous cashiering or banking experience preferred
Previous customer service experience preferred
Must be able to obtain a Missouri Gaming License
Ability to communicate all events, promotional activities, and facilities available to guest
Always maintain a fun and friendly attitude and provide for a safe and clean work environment
