TITLE: Cafeteria Monitor
CLASSIFICATION: Classified Hourly
REPORTS TO: Site Administrator
SUMMARY:The Cafeteria Monitor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, orderly, and positive environment during student meal periods. This position is responsible for supervising meal service in the cafeteria, ensuring adherence to school rules, supporting safe mealtime practices, and assisting with cafeteria flow and cleanup in collaboration with custodial staff.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required; Valid AZ fingerprint clearance card is required.
EXPERIENCE:Prior experience working with children in a school, childcare, or community setting preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The work environment is the normal school setting.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 9-month year (182 days) part-time 15 hours per week, Classified Hourly Salary Schedule � Level C.
EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board policy on evaluation of certified staff.

Roosevelt School District No. 66 was established in Phoenix, Arizona in 1912. The first RSD school was located south of the Phoenix City Center on the corner of what is now 7th Street and Southern Avenue.
