Job Description

Lincoln Tech is looking for a Manager of Dining Services, to provide food services. You would oversee all food service staff, purchasing, preparation, and sale of food, following all health and sanitary guidelines. You would be responsible for meal planning and rotation of products and operating within a stipulated budget.

Requirements

• 5+ years supervisory experience in operating a food service outlet
• Knowledge of ordering, maintaining, storing, and preparing food items
• Experience in developing budgets, and tracking consumable and labor costs
• Understand profit and loss statements
• Food Service Manager certification
• ServSafe certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meal selection
• Operate the food service at a responsible and profitable financial level
• Oversee food service staff and provide training on safety, sanitation, and licensing
• Purchase materials in appropriate quantities at reasonable cost
• Rotate menu weekly and seasonally to maintain usage of café
• Provide catering services as needed to all departments within the school
