PRIMARYPURPOSE

TheBookstore Attendantshall serveThe Navigatorsand fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost

This positionis responsible forprovidingcustomer service, making food and beverageswithin the café, and supporting the mission of Glen Eyrie and The Navigators.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

Bookstore Responsibilities[95% of time]

  • Interact with bookstore customers andassistthem with questions, purchases and conduct point-of-saletransaction

  • Manage customer food and beverageordersandpreparefood andbeverages to fulfill customer orders.

  • Receive, input, price, andshelvenew inventory

  • AssistBookstore Manager withproductpurchasing& staff trainingas needed.

  • Knowledgeof Bookstore and Glen Eyrie goals, and how to contribute to them

Additional Responsibilities[5% of time]

  • Participate in Navigatorson-sitelearning and developmentevents, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings,or other non-Navigator developmental events asappropriate

  • Participate in annualprocesses,such as theorganizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization,and other releases asrequired

  • Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule of 2–3 shifts per week, including weekdays and weekends. Regular shifts are 5–8 hours. Weekend availability is required, with the expectation of working 1–2 Sundays per month.

  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Hourly Rate: $15.60
