The smoothie after a hard session. The familiar face behind the counter who already knows your order. At Altea, the cafe is part of the member experience, and the Cafe Associate is the person who makes it feel that way.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in what they serve, cares about the person in front of them, and understands that consistency and warmth are what turn a transaction into an experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare and Serve with Precision. Smoothies, protein shakes, and café offerings prepared to recipe, presented with care, and delivered at the speed members expect.

• Welcome Every Member. You greet the people you serve with genuine warmth. You learn names, remember orders, and make members feel like the café is one of the best parts of their visit.

• Keep a Spotless Station. Your work area is clean, organized, and stocked before the rush, not after. You take ownership of the space because you understand what it represents.

• Support the Team. You help the person beside you without being asked. When it is busy, you step in. When it is quiet, you set the next shift up for success.

• You take pride in your craft. Whether it is the consistency of a smoothie or the quality of a coffee, you care about doing it right because you are proud of what you put out.
• You are warm and consistent. Members notice when the person behind the counter is genuinely happy to see them. That energy is not something you perform. It is how you show up.
• You keep a clean station without being told. An organized, sanitary workspace is something you maintain throughout service, not at the end of it.
• You are reliable. Your team can count on you to be there, be on time, and bring your best every shift.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in a café, food service, or hospitality role is an asset. Full training will be provided

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment while maintaining quality and composure

• Warm, approachable communicator who genuinely enjoys interacting with members and guests

• Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of their workspace and their work

• Valid Food Handler Certification considered an asset

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C, maintained annually

• Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement

WHAT YOU'LL EARN

This role is compensated at a level that reflects the standard we hold and the calibre of person we are looking for. All rates of pay are confidential.
