You oversee daily operations, hit sales goals, and keep the team motivated, all while rolling up your sleeves to craft specialty beverages. As a Café Supervisor, a typical day might include the following:

• Educating team members on consistently delivering a five-star experience
• Making smoothies and preparing orders for customers in Starbucks alongside the team
• Maintain inventory and replenish supplies
• Clean and sanitize equipment and café areas
• Reviewing time off requests, vacation days and prepare Café Associate schedules
• Assist with recruitment and selection of all new Café Associates
• Conduct new hire training
• Plan and host team meetings
• Inspect what you're expecting from the team to ensure standards are being met

To land this role you need to have;

• 3+ years in the customer service industry
• At least 1+ year in the food and beverage industry as a Supervisor
• Barista experience is considered an asset
• Post-secondary education relating to the health and fitness industry and additional certifications or workshops relating to customer service are an asset.
• All management/leadership team members are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR – Level C Certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
• All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
