About the team:

We are looking for a new colleague in our Hardware Simulation team at our location in Monterrey! The Chassis Solutions Division of ZF North America offers application specific solutions for a variety of different automotive Steering, Braking, Suspension and Chassis Components. Continued growth in our Monterrey office has created an opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team!

What you can look forward to as a Simulation Engineer:

  • Perform linear and nonlinear FEA structural analysis for durability and provide recommendations for designs changes
  • Possess knowledge of CAD systems, such as CATIA or UG
  • Prefer to possess knowledge in Design Of Experiments and other engineering tools.
  • Customer contact/support
  • Experience with any two of the following codes: Ansys and Fatigue, ABAQUS, and Hypermesh
  • Maintain “state of the art awareness” on CAE tools/methodology.

Your profile as a Simulation Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics, Automotive Engineering or a comparable field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and engineering teams at all levels.
  • Structured, analytical and self-driven working style.
  • Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
