RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts CAE tasks for chassis component development projects
• Responsible for product development from initial ideas to testing of prototypes and final release for production
• Provides, evaluates and documents CAE calculation models according to internal and external requirements and policies and is responsible for the quality of the model
• Documents CAE calculation status in form of CAE reports and is responsible for the CAE data structure in the project management system with regard to project relevant deadlines
• Develops test scenarios in cooperation with internal and external testing departments
• Supports the testing phase and conducts correlation inspections in cooperation with the departments, documents and assesses the results
• Inspects external CAE on plausibility and documents results
• Supports the building phase in the prototype construction and considers the relevant experience for the calculation of the CAE model
• Presents, structures and represents calculation results internally and externally
• Supports the development of calculation guidelines and technical standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• English or German language (at least one on level B1)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel
• Driving license (B)
