Job Description

What to Expect

As an Analysis Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of next generation Tesla products. You will be brilliant both technically and as a person, and as an engaged member in a diverse and dynamic cross-functional team environment. You will work with Vehicle Engineering teams to understand the performance of future vehicle designs and with Test Engineering teams to develop tests, correlate simulation models, and improve the prediction.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop strength and durability finite element models for analysis and optimization of revolutionary vehicle architectures in collaboration with a small team of multi-disciplinary engineers
  • Use CAE tools to optimize strength and durability performance for BIW, closures, chassis, exteriors, interiors and other sub-systems. Quickly learn the tools necessary to execute, and modify, or create new tools as necessary
  • Perform analysis for feasibility of manufacturing, assembly, and service processes
  • Support root-cause investigation of current production and performance issues of different systems
  • Produce and perform concise management summaries and report-outs
  • Question established traditional CAE methods and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

What You’ll Bring
