Job Description

Oneida Professional Services (OPS) is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time CADP Training and Development Specialist at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL.

*This position is contingent upon award of a federal contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction for the Department of the Air Force Civilian Associate Degree Program (CADP) in online and resident learning environments.
  • Teach up to 20 online course sections annually while maintaining course quality and student engagement.
  • Develop, update, and maintain lesson plans, presentations, and instructional materials.
  • Facilitate synchronous and asynchronous learning activities using approved LMS platforms.
  • Grade coursework and provide substantive, qualitative feedback within required timelines.
  • Respond to student inquiries within one business day and provide academic support and remediation.
  • Conduct needs assessments and participate in all phases of the ADDIE instructional design process.
  • Monitor learner progress and maintain student completion records.
  • Support virtual course delivery as a producer when required.
  • Participate in curriculum committees, faculty meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain faculty portfolios and complete annual instructional evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with Air University, AETC, DAF, and CLDS policies and procedures.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Management, Leadership, or related discipline; OR Master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Management or Leadership.
  • One (1) year of LMS experience (Canvas, Blackboard, or similar).
  • One (1) year of synchronous online instruction experience using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Adobe Connect, or similar platform.
  • One (1) year of online university-level teaching experience.
  • Air Force civilian or military experience, OR completion of Air Force intermediate or senior-level Professional Military Education.
  • Two (2) years of Air Force academic writing experience.
  • Ability to teach and facilitate discussions in virtual and classroom environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CADP Faculty Preparation Course completion.
  • Academic Instructor Course completion.
  • Previous experience teaching leadership, management, or organizational development courses.
  • Experience supporting military-affiliated higher education programs.
