Cadet Program Manager

Based in Budapest

Purpose of the role

Responsible for the oversight of all elements of the Wizz Air Cadet Program.

Establish strategic goals for the program and supervise implementation throughout the organization, including external partners.

Responsibilities

  • and align Wizz Air Cadet Programs.
  • Prepare the program calendar, including recruitment.
  • Create and maintain connection with cadets enrolled in Wizz Air Cadet Programs; ensure permanent communication stream and feedback loop.
  • Envision the future of Cadet Programs to ensure sufficient guaranteed trainees in an efficient and tailored form for Wizz Air.
  • Create strategy for target markets in line with long-term network development plans.
  • Establish an effective cross-functional process and implement it into PROMAPP.
  • Initiate and monitor marketing activities to boost candidate numbers and program awareness.
  • Select and create a recruitment platform best suited for Airline Standards.
  • Improve candidate selection methods.
  • Follow up on trainee numbers required vs. in the pipeline.
  • Track trainee applications, recruitment, training progress, and any changes with Wizz Air ATO.
  • Maintain airline standards in training with service providers.
  • Liaise with service providers and represent Wizz Air in Cadet Programs.
  • Be familiar with and follow regulatory changes in initial pilot training and recruitments.
  • Maintain and update current contracts; be familiar with market conditions to create new contracts.

Experience

  • 3-5+ years of overall working experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with managing cross-functional programs.

Hard skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet established targets, and work within critical milestones.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Language

Fluent English (both written and spoken)

Skills and competencies

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal/written communication, presentation, organizational, evaluation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-disciplined, structured, and strong follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to travel.
