Who are we?

We tell the stories that matter. That purpose has been the engine behind everything we do - from investigative journalism that holds power to account, to the lifestyle content that brings joy to millions of homes every day. We’ve evolved from our proud print heritage into a digital-first ecosystem, meeting our audiences where they are - whether that’s through dynamic video, personalised apps, fantasy games, or award-winning podcasts.

Our work goes beyond reporting; it drives measurable, life-changing outcomes. From uncovering the truth in the award-winning The Teacher’s Pet podcast and securing a $49.1M investment in gynecological care with About Bloody Time, to successfully lobbying for a historic $9 billion funding commitment for Queensland’s Bruce Highway and fighting the stigma of dementia through our Think Again campaign. We don’t just report the news; we build a better Australia.

For decades, our five values have defined how we work together, what sets us apart, and how we show up for our audiences:

MAKE A DIFFERENCE - We are driven to create a positive, measurable impact.
BE PRINCIPLED - We uphold integrity, acting with honesty and purpose.
GET IT DONE - We are accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes.
PUSH BOUNDARIES - We are courageous, bold, and forward-thinking.
WORK AS A TEAM - We are one team, with many voices and diverse strengths
