CAD Technician (Electrical Drafting) Cape Town Market Related

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update detailed technical drawings and schematics for electrical systems using CAD and BIM software.
• Collaborate with engineers and design teams to ensure designs are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
• Produce high-quality drafts and blueprints in line with industry standards and regulations.
• Revise and refine drawings based on feedback from engineers and senior team members.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, including wiring diagrams, layouts, and installation details.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet project deadlines and deliver successful outcomes.
• Uphold accuracy and attention to detail in all outputs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CAD Technician with a strong focus on electrical drafting.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and BIM environments.
• Solid knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring, and system layouts.
• Relevant qualification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, CAD Technology, or related field (preferred).
