We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting, with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings for a variety of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Drafting:
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.
  • Develop schematics, layouts, and detailed plans for construction, manufacturing, and engineering projects.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure accurate representation of designs.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss design concepts and modifications.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Update and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain organized records of all drawings, models, and revisions.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports as required.
• Technical Support:
  • Provide support to engineering teams by preparing presentations and visual aids for project proposals and meetings.
  • Assist with the creation of technical manuals and installation guides.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or certification in CAD technology, drafting, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CAD Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) and other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Working Conditions:

• The role is remote.
• Occasional travel to project sites and client meetings may be required.

• $16 - $22 per hour
