The CAD & SolidWorks Architect is responsible for designing, modeling, and developing detailed engineering drawings and fabrication packages to support oil and gas, frac, fabrication, and welding operations. This role works closely with engineering, operations, fabrication, and field personnel to ensure designs meet operational requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications. The CAD & SolidWorks Architect oversees drawing accuracy, revision control, and design optimization while supporting fabrication efficiency, safety compliance, and project execution.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of CAD drafting and SolidWorks design experience preferred, preferably within the oil and gas, frac, fabrication, or manufacturing industry.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The CAD & SolidWorks Architect works primarily in a corporate office and fabrication shop environment, with periodic visits to field locations, customer sites, and fabrication facilities. This role requires close coordination with engineering, welding, fabrication, frac operations, and field personnel in a fast-paced operational setting. Work hours are generally standard business hours; however, additional hours, overtime, and occasional on-call support may be required to meet project deadlines and operational demands. The position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining compliance with all company safety policies and industry standards.
