The Role
The United Infrastructure Transmission and Distribution team provides HV OHL design supporting construction, procurement, and consultancy on a variety of projects within the sector. Due to significant growth across our Transmission and Distribution business, United Infrastructure has a unique opportunity for an experienced CAD designer keen to move into a team leadership role and broaden their expertise and work on critical UK transmission projects.
This role will suit someone already experienced in CAD deliverable production that is looking to progress their career and take a functional leadership role in our team. You will lead our development in CAD design solutions as we develop to meet the growing demands in the T&D sector as well as embracing broader technological development.

Purpose of the Position:
This position will be in our assurance team and be the subject Matter expert for our CAD designer resources. The role will ensure common delivery processes across the team, lead in innovation to improve efficiency of the CAD resources and lead staff development needs in CAD design. The position will work across clients and projects and across our delivery teams.
