Our Team
The Molex Connector Design team develops innovative solutions that power industrial automation, communication systems, and high-performance connectivity applications. We collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams to design reliable products that meet customer needs and industry requirements.
As part of our Industrial Solutions business, you will contribute to the design and development of connectors for demanding industrial applications while supporting product innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
What You Will Do
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively within cross-functional and global engineering teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with DFMEA concepts and corrective action processes.Experience supporting engineering change requests and document control activities.Knowledge of product development and engineering release processes.Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance interpretation, and basic tolerance stack-up analysis.Experience creating engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD design software, preferably Siemens NX (UG NX).Experience working with connectors, wiring harnesses, automotive products, industrial products, or related electromechanical components.3+ years of experience in product development, product sustenance, or engineering change management.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.What Will Put You Ahead
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.Experience participating in design reviews, risk assessments, and engineering validation activities.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and design for manufacturability principles.Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and product sustaining activities.Exposure to Polarion or similar product lifecycle and requirements management tools.Experience working with Teamcenter PLM systems.Advanced expertise in Siemens NX for modeling, detailing, and drawing creation.Experience within Industrial Automation, Industrial Communication, Automotive, or related industries.Experience designing products involving plastic, sheet metal, cast, and plated components.Who We Are
