The United Infrastructure Transmission and Distribution team provides HV OHL design supporting construction, procurement, and consultancy on a variety of projects within the sector. Due to significant growth across our Transmission and Distribution business United Infrastructure has a unique opportunity for CAD designers keen to broaden their expertise and work on critical UK transmission projects.
This role will suit someone looking for the opportunity to use their CAD skill to build a career in Electricity Transmission. The role will provide the exposure to civil, structural and electrical 2-D and 3D CAD deliverables utilised to support our construction on a variety of HV overhead line and underground cable projects.
Purpose of the Position:
Deliver drawings, design deliverables and documents as directed by the engineers and designers in accordance the engineering procedures and guidance notes.

Qualifications / Knowledge and Experience:
ISCED level 5 – Minimum NVQ level 4, HNC in CAD applicable subject
Work experience – Minimum experience of 8years in a CAD role.
