Summary

As member of the DV CAD team, you have the opportunity to impact Apple engineers who develop next generation of Apple products!

You will be responsible for developing software solutions used by thousands of DV engineers globally. You will be supporting design process of all chip families Apple makes (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and more), and your work will help streamline this complex process. This role combines DV knowledge alongside modern software engineering practices. Your work will be very diverse, and you will have broad impact contributing to the success of Apple silicon.

Description

You will develop and drive software development of multiple tools across the DV space, including cloud-native services, GUI, LLM harness, CI/CD. Your work will span from software development and architecture to collaborating with DV engineers, working with EDA vendors, and supporting critical project milestones.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud-native development: experience with docker, k8s, writing HTTP servers, authentication and authorization

Familiarity with LLM harnesses and LLM frameworks

Good Python skills, including: familiarity with async programming, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI

Familiarity with SQL and experience working with databases such as MySQL

Minimum Qualifications

BS.c/MS.c in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

Constantly striving for improvement

Proven experience with Design Verification – multiple years working in DV or DV CAD space

Strong software foundation, good understanding of SW basics, including data structures, algorithms

Proven track record of automating tasks and improving existing workflows and processes

Good communication skills

General understanding of the chip design process, what are: hardware description languages, FE, design simulation, synthesis, PD, etc.
