Job Description

People Perfect is hiring Cable Technicians on behalf of a leading internet and telecommunications services provider. The selected candidates will be responsible for installing fiber optic cable infrastructure up to distribution boxes, installing connectivity devices at customer premises, and handling on-site customer complaints. The role also involves supporting fiber splicing teams, maintaining cable infrastructure, and assisting with network troubleshooting and service restoration.

Key Responsibilities

• Install fiber optic cable infrastructure up to distribution boxes, including cable laying, routing, and handling.
• Install televisions, cables, routers, and other IT devices at customer premises.
• Attend and handle customer complaints on-site related to cable connectivity and services.
• Assist splicing teams during Fiber Distribution Terminal (FDT) and Distribution Box (ADT) installation activities.
• Lay and handle different fiber optic cable capacities, including 2-fiber, 6-fiber, 12-fiber, and 24-fiber cables.
• Support activities involving GPON technology and related telecom infrastructure.
• Respond to service disruptions and assist in timely network fault restoration.
• Troubleshoot issues related to cable networks and connectivity.
• Assist in repairing and maintaining cable poles and towers.
• Ensure cables are properly tied, organized, and bundled in accordance with safety regulations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: 3-Year DAE in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Splicing, FTTH, or GPON.
• Fresh candidates with a relevant DAE are encouraged to apply.
• Practical knowledge of electrical wiring, cable installation, and cable handling.
• Experience as an Electrician will be preferred.
• Experience in handling pole cables and assisting splicing teams will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of fiber optic cables and telecom infrastructure.
• Ability to perform field-based technical duties, including outdoor installation and maintenance activities.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and coordinate with team members.
• Relevant technical courses or certifications from TEVTA / NAVTTC will be an added advantage.

• Monthly Salary: PKR 43,000 - 60,000
