As a Cable Technician, you'll play a key role in installing and supporting structured cabling infrastructure for commercial voice, data, security, and life safety systems.
Pull, route, and install CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6A cabling through:
Terminate copper cabling into:
Perform high-volume terminations using:
Rack and stack network equipment in MDF and IDF rooms
Bundle, dress, and organize cable runs using Velcro and approved methods
Label cable runs according to project drawings and TIA/EIA standards
Read and follow blueprints, floor plans, and installation documentation
Work safely on commercial job sites using ladders, lifts, and power tools
