This contract-to-hire Cable Technician role offers a hands-on entry into the telecommunications and technology industry, supporting structured cabling and low-voltage projects across a variety of commercial environments in the Rock Hill, SC area. You will work as part of a team to pull, terminate, and test CAT6 cabling while developing your skills and building a long-term career path in a growing field.

The role is based in commercial and construction settings within the Rock Hill, SC area, including schools, hospitals, office spaces, data centres, and other professional facilities. You will work on active job sites where safety and adherence to site rules are essential, regularly using ladders, scissor lifts, and basic hand tools to complete cabling tasks. The position involves travelling between multiple sites, sometimes up to an hour away, and working closely with a team of technicians in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Work is typically performed in standard construction or commercial attire appropriate for low-voltage and cabling work, with any required safety equipment provided or specified by the site.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Mill, SC.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
