This entry-level Cable Technician role offers a hands-on opportunity to work within a data center environment, supporting the installation and routing of low-voltage cabling and equipment. The position is ideal for someone who is capable to stand and lift 50+lbs, highly dependable, and eager to learn, with previous experience in physically demanding work such as construction, trades, military, or similar. You will work closely with experienced technicians, developing your technical skills while contributing to critical infrastructure projects in varying outdoor conditions over extended shifts.

You will work primarily in data centres within a structured, safety-focused environment. For the construction team, the standard schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, totalling approximately 58 hours per week. Production team members typically work four 10-hour shifts, with the option to pick up additional shifts with the construction team. At times, mandatory overtime may be required, and all candidates must be able to work extended hours. The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, including in hot and cold weather, and requires regular use of ladders and lifts. A strict PPE dress code applies on site: composite-toe safety boots (6" over the ankle) provided by the candidate, and Type 2, Class E hardhat with chinstrap, high-visibility yellow vest, safety glasses and level 3 cut gloves, which are supplied with assistance. Prior to working on site, you must complete OSHA 10 training, partner onboarding and construction safety orientation. The environment is fast-paced, physically demanding and highly safety-conscious, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and adherence to procedures.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgeville, SC.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
