In this role, you'll:
You will be part of a team responsible for delivering key implementations across the Operational Technology Optical Fibre and Copper Cable Networks.
You will utilise your experience and technical knowledge to assist with the maintenance and support of these networks, ensuring high availability and performance. Working closely with your Supervisor, Project Managers, and Cable Network Specialists at ICON, you will contribute to the reliable operation of critical communications infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance, as well as responding to network faults and emergencies as they arise.
The position is based in Granville; however, extensive travel is required. You will work across the NSW network and gain the opportunity to learn and support the broader Sydney Trains communications network.
The standard hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is essential, as weekend work and overtime will be required from time to time.
This is a permanent, full-time position, with participation in a 24/7 on-call roster when required.
