Queensland Rail have an exciting permanent full time opportunity for a Cable Jointer to join our Regional Assets North team based at our Townsville depot You’ll work as a team of three, in a wider team of 10, reporting to the Co-Ordinator Network Services. You’ll support a broad region stretching from Rockhampton to Cairns to Mt Isa.
Purpose that Counts.
As a Cable Jointer, you’ll play a vital role in carrying out the installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications cables and cabling equipment and report on the performance and condition of the network asset to ensure its safe and effective operation. You will be responsible for conducting vital inspections and repairs of the communication infrastructure on poles and towers through out the network to ensure operational performance.
