For almost 20 years, we have made vital contributions to the Oil & Gas sector of the UAE, executing both onshore and offshore projects. Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is one of our main clients along with Tier 1 and Tier 2 EPC contractors in this sector. We have the expertise to carry out full EPC&M services for electrical and instrumentation works and bring our intrinsic knowledge to measure and automate exploration, production, separation, refining processes, and distribution through our localized services.

• Carry out jointing and termination of HV / MV / LV power cables as per approved procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
• Perform installation of straight-through joints, outdoor/indoor terminations, and cable sealing ends.
• Handle XLPE, PVC, armored/unarmored power cables and associated accessories.
• Prepare cable routes, cable dressing, glanding, lugging, ferruling, and termination works.
• Conduct insulation resistance checks, continuity tests, and support commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper heat shrink / cold shrink / resin jointing techniques are applied as per standards.
• Read and interpret single line diagrams (SLD), cable schedules, and electrical drawings.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, supervisors, and QA/QC teams for inspections and testing.
• Maintain tools, jointing kits, and ensure quality workmanship at site.
• Follow strict HSE procedures, PTW system, LOTO requirements, and safe work practices.
• Troubleshoot cable faults and support maintenance/repair activities when required.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5+ years of experience as an HV Cable Jointer in Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of cable jointing kits such as Raychem / Nexans / Prysmian / 3M or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently under site conditions and project deadlines.
• Valid safety certifications are preferred.
