
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet/Finishing Wiring Technician to join our high voltage switchgear team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude as well as hands-on experience in wiring and assembling control cabinets for medium to high voltage switchgear systems. This role requires great communication skills, a strong understanding of electrical schematics, use of common and specific wiring hand tools, experience in common cabinet wiring practices, basic computer skills, and high safety standards.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended lengths of time. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee will be required to use hands and fingers to perform continuous repetitive motions. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. The employee will be required to regularly climb ladders and work from mobile work platforms and may be required to operate and work from motorized aerial work platforms. The employee will occasionally be required to work at heights of up to or higher than 15 feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Prolonged periods of working on a computer and looking at a computer screen.
