Job Description

Cabinet MakerA Cabinet Maker 1 assists with building cabinets and furniture of basic design with minimal supervision. The Cabinet Maker should efficiently and safely utilize tools, assist with delivery and installations, and maintain flexibility with projects.

Assist with Cabinet Construction

Construct cabinets and furniture with an excellent degree of accuracy. Follow detailed plans provided by the Supervisor. Draw simple plans and build projects with basic designs.

Utilize Tools

Constructs cabinetry using industrial tools (table saw, panel saw, edgebander, and drill press) or hand tools (drills, chisels, and files). Learn how to use the ENC machine for various projects.

Assist with Delivery and Installations

Instruct the Cabinet Shop Helpers on how to deliver and install all types of cabinetry. Assist with any issues that arise.

Maintain Flexibility

Work well with all members of Cabinet Shop. Be flexible and change priorities when instructed by the Supervisor.
