Job Description

The Cabin Server provides in-flight cabin services on our fleet of large cabin aircraft (for additional pictures and specifications of our fleet, please visit our website). This position will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to all of our passengers. This is a full-time opportunity!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure a high level of service and comfort for all passengers
  • Provide passengers with a memorable experience with the highest level of responsiveness
  • Prepare and present catering orders and beverage orders as requested
  • Prepare passengers and aircraft for landing, following procedures
  • Greet passengers boarding aircraft with the utmost courtesy and professionalism
  • Clean and organize the cabin as needed
  • Maintain the appropriate amount of aircraft stock and supplies
  • Keep the Captain informed of any passenger plans or needs that may affect the conduct of the flight
  • Attend to routine owner needs as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 3-5 years of experience in FAR Part 135 operations; 2-4 years of customer service experience, preferable in high end Luxury hospitality service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous FACTS Training or equivalent is preferred
  • Knowledge of cuisine and cooking skills
  • Previous corporate aviation experience is preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess the legal ability to work in the United States and have the ability to travel in and out of the US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.
  • Candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess a professional and positive attitude.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail while prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Successful candidate will be able to sustain physical requirements such as: moderate amounts of bending; lifting of various weights (including supplies and catering needs); and sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be available to work a rotating schedule of 8 days on / 6 days off, fixed schedule; or 16 days a month, variable schedule.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration; chemicals including aviation fuels and lavatory fluid. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical demands with activity or condition requiring a considerable to moderate amount of bending and lifting of various weights, including supplies and luggage.
  • Physical demands associated with cleaning and stocking of aircraft.
  • Able to push open/pull closed aircraft doors, with a maximum force of 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and sit for extended period.
  • Must be able to visually and aurally assess conditions.

DOMICILE

  • Various locations; preferred to reside near a major metropolitan area.
  • Must reside within a 90-mile radius of one of our approved domiciles.
