YOUR ROLE

As the Manager for “Car as a customer” (CAAC), you will be an executive able to develop and implement new activities within FVL, especially related to servicing single units (used cars, prototypes / luxury vehicles etc.), Mobility & Fleet customers and refurbishment programs. You are expected to kick start new business models with a standardized approach (e.g. demo fleet, last mile deliveries etc.) while expanding FVL’s reach with existing customers on new and ancillary services.

You will make sure initiatives are implemented smoothly and organize activities accordingly – from sales to invoicing all the way through to Operations.

In this role, you will report to the Cluster Head of FVL Benelux & DACH and with a dotted line to the Global Head CAAC. You are based in Belgium (Ghislenghien) but require weekly travel within the cluster (depending of ongoing projects & CAAC development). Regular travel to Paris Head-Office and within the European network are required on a ad-hoc basis.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

An entrepreneurial and organized mindset is required to succeed in this role, with soft skills allowing navigating in a matrix organization (functional reporting to cluster with day-to-day work assignment in the FVL country).

This role is crucial to drive the future of FVL within auto services value chain

As a CAAC Manager your main missions consist of:

  • Define with Business development the cluster strategy to develop in CCAC used car markets (e.g. interdealer flows etc.) and expand & develop Mobility & Fleet solutions (Demo or press fleet management, D2C pick-up and deliveries, conciergerie…),
  • Support sales and tender team in commercial developments related to CAAC for CAAC specific solution design
  • Designing operational set-up specifically focused on single unit network and dedicated operating assets and teams (in close collaboration with central & local teams)
  • Drive complex new customer implementation, with a specific focus on CAAC customers
  • Putting at scale our fleet and last mile delivery offering
  • Be the point of contact of CAAC global organization and supervising the production of relevant operational and financial KPIs with the support of GHO, finance, and shared competencies centers (Business Performance Excellence, Control Tower, Shared Competency Centers & On-Boarding etc.)

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Proven experience in the Logistics sector preferably in Finished Vehicle Logistics, automotive, or supply chain;
  • Overall knowledge in Project Management, Lean management, IT and integration related to the business
  • A strong network in Benelux and DACH region is an advantage;
  • Entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset, you go after the deal and focus on long-term value;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch and French
  • You have an analytical approach and are solution oriented
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
