The Center of Healthcare Delivery Science (C4HDS) is an academic research group focused on the design and testing of innovative ways to engage patients and providers in increasing the use of evidence-based interventions to improve health and healthcare delivery. The Center’s largest projects involve multicomponent Center projects and real world randomized controlled trials that seek to identify scalable strategies to enhance patient and provider engagement. The design and conduct of these trials creatively blends rigorous research methods with the operational realities faced by organizations that deliver healthcare. To that end, the Center collaborates closely with groups that deliver care, administer health insurance benefits and/or develop technologies for improving healthcare.
The research program manager (PM) will provide ongoing infrastructure support for the administration of research activities conducted at the Center. Responsibilities include daily management throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring progress and budget, communicating with stakeholders, and handling program related documentation (progress reports, etc.). The PM will assist in the development of new project proposals and ensure all regulatory and legal activities are completed in a timely manner.
The PM will be required to work closely with the Center’s Execute Director and other leadership, investigators and staff as well as collaborators at BWH, Mass General Brigham and other institutions around the country. In addition, the PM will manage the research assistants working at the Center and will be responsible for administrative tasks related to the Center’s research fellowship program.
