MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented C2 SYSTEMS INTEGRATION EXPERT or to join our team in STAFFORD, VA.

This role will provide expertise towards enabling rapid enhancements for military operations in support of our Nation’s defense.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Marine Corps information systems research and development, specifically focusing on the convergence of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Cyber (C5) with Joint Fires and Kill Web architectures.
  • Contribute to the advancement of architecting and implementing resilient Kill Webs to include transition of high-level functional systems from linear kill chains to dynamic, mesh-networked kill webs that connect disparate sensors and shooters across domains.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support on the implementation and interconnection of mission networks (e.g., tactical data links, waveforms, and cloud-at-the-edge) to enhance the speed and accuracy of the F2T2EA (Find, Fix, Track, Target, Engage, Assess) cycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to align system activities with client expectations, actively working to optimize processes and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with government and contracted teams to support the development, testing, and deployment of solutions that enable Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) and distributed maritime operations.
  • Maintain rigorous project and program documentation, ensuring accurate reporting on status, deliverables production, and administrative records for meetings and briefings.
  • Facilitate resource coordination and administrative execution to support the planning, testing, and production of critical capabilities associated with the customer’s mission.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field combined with 12 or more years current and emerging military C2-related technologies. A total of 18 years’ experience without a degree.
  • Familiarity with the technical requirements for Joint Fires integration (e.g., AFATDS, NOTM, CAC2S) and the ability to align these capabilities to current gaps and operations.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of current and emerging CJADC2 doctrine, policy, strategy, methods, and requirements.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and administrative skills with a solid grasp of project documentation and reporting practices utilizing effective communication skills and technologies (e.g., Microsoft tools, video teleconferences, digital communications) to foster teamwork and align goals across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks with keen attention to detail, functioning effectively both independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Military experience, training, and/or certification in Joint all-domain areas of relevance; examples include JT-301 – Joint Interface Control Officer Course, JT-310 – Advanced Joint Operators Course, and JDN-201 – Joint Data Networks Planners Course.
  • Experience supporting RDT&E and related innovative efforts that require rapid maturation.
  • Experience leading large organization or Service-wide military projects across diverse stakeholders.
  • PMP or CAPM certification or similar Project Management designation.

Clearance Requirements:

Must have an active and current TS/SCI clearance and willingness to submit to a CI polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically capable of supporting field exercises, including lifting up to 50 lbs, traversing rugged terrain, and traveling via military tactical vehicles, ships, and aircraft.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary/ desk position 50% of the time, occasionally and communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, or virtual communication, which may involve clearly delivering briefings/ presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
