Job Description

SGI Global is seeking a C-145 Aircraft Maintenance Field Site Representative (FSR) to provide technical assistance, mentorship, and training to the Kenyan Air Force (KAF) in support of C-145 aircraft maintenance and sustainment. The FSR will support inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures while advising on aircraft systems, logistics, and maintenance program development to enhance operational readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist KAF personnel in procedures for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on C-145 aircraft
  • Provide support and mentorship on airframe systems and subsystems
  • Conduct and support preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
  • Analyze and troubleshoot aircraft systems including structures, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, and related components
  • Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical data to determine repair methods
  • Support refueling/defueling operations and aircraft servicing tasks
  • Develop detailed reports on inspections, maintenance activities, and technical findings
  • Identify spare parts requirements and sourcing strategies
  • Support development of maintenance, logistics, tool control, and quality control programs
  • Conduct trend analysis, audits, and documentation reviews for maintenance activities
  • Provide recommendations to improve maintenance procedures and resolve recurring issues

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen and must maintain a valid U.S. Passport
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
  • Minimum of five (5) years of C-145 aircraft experience, including airframe, powerplant, and electrical systems
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience developing and delivering maintenance or logistics training to foreign militaries
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to travel extensively both domestically and internationally
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. or International driver's license

Place of Performance and Travel
The primary duty location for this position is Moi Air Base in Kenya. Travel will be required in support of this task order.
