Duties & Role:

To support the newly established centralised Personnel Security Section in ASO. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing personnel security support regarding initiation, renewal, transfer and revocation of PSCs. The selected contractor will also interact on a regular basis with all 32 NSAs from all NATO member nations.

The contractor will be reporting to the NCIA ASO. Steering committee meetings will be organised in the beginning and in the end of the project.

Operationally, the contractor will work closely with the ASO IKM officers. Regular working meetings will be organised and coordinated during the project development.

The scope of this project is to support the newly established Personnel Security Section in ASO with the HOTO of all Personnel Security for NCIA remote locations.

The contractor services will encompass the following:

Communication with NATO member nations' NSAs

  • Communicate any PSC related topics to NSAs.
  • Start renewals, transfers and revocation together with the NSAs.

Update Security data in the relevant systems

  • Update any security related data in HCM, APMS, ManageID and central ASO Security database.

Support HOTO of PersSy from all NCIA remote locations.

  • Coordinate HOTO directly with ACO subordinate commands

The purpose of this project is to support ASO Personnel Security and bridge resource gaps until the full resources for the establishment are available and to enable the full capability already now.

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Demonstrated and proven skills, knowledge and experience in NATO Security Policy, especially in Personnel Security pillar.
  • Demonstrated and proven skills, knowledge and experience in interaction with NATO member nations' NSAs.
  • Knowledge about initiation, transfer, renewal and revocation of PSCs.
  • English writing skills and the ability to brief work in English to a diverse audience
